Q.    My unit has frozen up. What do I do?
A.    Turn the unit off and let it thaw out.

Q.    My AC unit is blowing hot air. Why?
A.    Your unit could be low on freon.

Q.    What could make my power bill go up so high?
A.    The filter on your unit could be clogged or the evaporator coil could be dirty.

Q.    When I turn my thermostat on, my unit doesn’t come on immediately. Why not?
A.    There is a delay on the unit.

Q.    What causes my air vents to sweat?
A.    The humidity in your home may be too high. You may not have enough return or too much return.

Q.    My heating unit is blowing cold air. What could cause that?
A.    You could have a bad igniter on the unit.

Q.    I tried to turn my unit on and nothing happened. What’s wrong?
A.    The blower motor could have burned up.

Q.    What is a seer?
A.    A seer is the energy efficiency rating of your equipment. Industry standard is 13 seer.

Q.    What is the difference between R22 and R410A?
A.    R22 is the older version of freon that is not ozone friendly. R410A is the newer improved freon that is not harmful to the environment.
